The Man Behind 3Rockorg

Chris Olberz, the business owner of 3Rockorg, spent the first 15 years of his work life in the IT industry specializing in hardware design installation and support. He handled Microsoft, Linux and Network security including implementation of encryption and firewalls. His IT Career lead him to work in various companies including IBM, Siemens and Compaq/HP where he was in charge of their EMEA top tier clients as escalation manager. He then spend a year at SoftCo on the implementation of new IT systems as IT Manager. After leaving IT and spending 7 years to re-educate himself he started his Consultancy work in 2008 in Business and People Development. He handled different projects such as the Russian/Austrian Volvo Ocean Race campaign, setting up a cancer support services in Co. Clare Ireland, and implemented a MBCT for medium mental health patients with the HSE West Clare. While Chris’ main work is not in clinical psychology, he took on a contract over the last 3 years that involved people with mental disorders. He utilized and implemented the MBCT or Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy into a local daycare centre. His main focus on management development and developmental Psychology for his MSc. and his extensive work/life experience are proof of his skills in conducting personality and trainings needs tests. It also gives him the ability for extensive, meaningful consultancy in Business and People’s Development.
